Capacitor-bank and power-factor-correction panels are engineered to compensate reactive power, improve power factor, reduce unnecessary network current and release upstream electrical capacity. Total kVAr and step arrangement are selected from the target power factor, actual load profile and network conditions rather than from a fixed catalogue size.
The engineering process coordinates the power-factor controller, capacitor-step sizing, switching devices, protection, discharge circuits, ventilation and thermal behaviour. Where non-linear loads are present, harmonic conditions are reviewed and detuned reactors are considered when required. The final assembly is coordinated with IEC 61439, capacitor requirements and the project operating conditions.
The final configuration is selected from project documents, operating philosophy, installation conditions and approved equipment requirements.
Only values approved through TSP technical records are published. Project-specific ratings are finalized during engineering review.
Send project drawings and specifications so our engineering team can review the required configuration.
